Prabowo Appears Patient, Incumbent Presidential Candidate Judged Depressed in Yesterday Debate

Kabar Hub. Spokesperson for the National Winning Body (BPN) Prabowo - Sandi, Dian Fatwa said, Prabowo is a statesman who does not want to embarrass other people in public. Included in Saata appeared in the inaugural debate of the 2019 presidential election on Thursday, January 17, 2019.

In fact, said Dian, almost all team members had encouraged Prabowo to appear more aggressive on the first debate stage of the 2019 presidential election yesterday.
He said, in each segment break, the team always reminded Prabowo to appear more aggressive when dealing directly with the incumbent camp, but this was rejected by Prabowo Subianto.

"Of all the teams we tried to encourage Mr. Prabowo to be aggressive but he decided not to. Pak Prabowo is a statesman, "said Dian at Prabowo-Sandi Media Center, on Jalan Sriwijaya, South Jakarta, on Monday January 21, 2019.

The PAN politician also mentions that the public does not always like leaders who tend to be arrogant. As such, the best strategy at that time to win the hearts of the people is by applying the winning principle that does not always have to attack

"He showed his class, now that to win does not have to be by attacking, dropping or defaming," he said.

"For him (the way) by expressing the action program that will be carried out if we get the mandate from the people of Indonesia, that is what actually wants to be expressed instead of attacking the incumbent," he said.

Nevertheless, Dian admitted there were several things that had to be evaluated regarding the appearance of Prabowo - Sandi during the last debate. But what is clear is that Prabowo's desire is to avoid being aggressive by launching attacks on his opponents on the stage of the debate later.

"Once again I emphasize that Mr Prabowo is a statesman. He does not want to attack or bring down people because he wants to build a civilization, wants to build a healthy democracy, "he said.
The incumbent camp is rated depressed

On the other hand, political psychology expert Irfan Aulia said that during the initial debate of the 2019 presidential election, the presidential candidate was seen several times throwing attacks at Prabowo's camp.
"Incumbent was too aggressive during the debate, several times he even blatantly threw attacks," said Irfan at Sriwijaya House, South Jakarta, on Monday 21 January 2019.

Irfan also said that if the attitude of the former mayor of Solo, if viewed from the side of psychology, it seems that the feeling is depressed. he suspected that the attitude was influenced by electability which was stagnant and even tended to fall, also there were still many voters who had not yet determined their choices in the three months leading up to the voting on 17 April.

"Mr. Jokowi shot too fast, impatient. And people who shoot quickly are usually depressed, "he said.
"I just prefer the empirical ones, if from my survey friends, indeed he (Jokowi) might be defeated and that in my opinion is quite disturbing," Irfan said.

Irfan also commented on the style and attitude of Prabowo who tended to appear more patient and not aggressive in responding to attacks that were carried out by the opposing camp several times.
In fact, so far the firm and fierce attitude has always been attached to this former Kopassus General, but in the debate yesterday it was revealed that Prabowo was a disseminating and not aggressive figure.
